The LUNGS are the ONLY Internal Organ to come into contact with the outside environment via breathing. This makes them extra susceptible to illness. In TCM the LUNGS are correlated to the color WHITE. To strengthen your LUNGS eat more of:

NUTS: Almonds; Peanuts; Walnuts, Pine Nuts, Coconut, Hemp/Chia Seeds

FRUIT: Dates; Papaya; Apples, Grapes, Mulberries, Figs, Cherries,

GRAINS: Oats; Sweet Rice

VEGETABLES: Pumpkin, Winter Squash, Yams, Carrots,

MEAT: Duck, Goat/Sheep milk/cheese, Eel, Herring,

HERBS: Anise, Licorice, Cinn. Bark, Astragalus, Honey, brown sugar, sage, Thyme, Molasses, Reishi,
